Trailer Update
Hello BTR family! I just wanted to hop on here and give some exciting, yet intimidating, news. As some of you know, but some of you may not, this past February we were fortunate enough to purchase a trailer on the grounds of the community we serve. This was a massive step for us because we now have a physical presence with the people, and can provide a space for the care we are trying to provide. When we first purchased the trailer, there were a few thousand dollars of repairs we needed to complete right off the bat. Now that this phase is complete, it is time for us to finish the remainder of the safety hazards that still remain on the property.
Below you will see some photos of the outside of the property. the biggest concern is the front porch. It is not structurally sound and when it was first constructed, it was not done professionally. There are now exposed screws in the low hanging roof, the floor is sagging to the point of near collapse, and the awning created leaks from the roof, which is causing wood to rot from the water damage. These are just a few of the concerns. These hazards limit our use of the potentially amazing space, especially since the main target population are children.
We are in urgent need of $6000 to make these repairs. A builder has come forward, but only has the time to act now. There is no time to wait. Below I will post a way to access our donation page where you can make either a one time or monthly donation through Paypal or via check. Please, will you consider partnering with us for the glory of God and the spread of his name?
